Company Profile Services / Products   Carrers   Customer Support   Contact us   Site Map   Phone ID is the post-paid International Telephony Service offered to our customers who do not want to contract a MEDIA SAT telephone line and prefer to use their existing operators and still save money on international calls.PhoneID combines simplicity and availability with the advantage of reduced tariffs for your international phone calls from wherever you call in Romania. Phone ID will allow you to communicate at reduced costs from your fixed phone or mobile with your partners abroad, the service being accessed by calling a phone number with normal tariff or the short numbers 1013 or 1613 free of charge from ROMTELECOM lines (MEDIA SAT's carrier selection codes). The service has two options which can be combined and offers your company a flexible and professional solution for cutting down the costs with international calls. The first option of the service is registering your fixed and/or mobile phone numbers into our platform and allocating credit limits for each of these numbers. When you call the Phone ID platform from any of the registered numbers, our platform will automatically recognize you and it will give you access to call any international number or to check your credit. This way your fixed and mobile phones will act as Identifiers for you, this being a simple and convenient solution of international phone calling. The second option regards especially those who want to use Phone ID from other phone sets than those included in the personal list (from home, from your partners' headquarters etc.), the caller identification is done through an ID (password). This option can also be useful for your employees who need international access but have their phone set in an open area (that phone can be used also by other persons without international access rights). The service is available by calling the same phone number with normal taxation from any telephone or calling from ROMTELECOM on 1013, the single difference being the fact that the system will ask the ID (the identification code) and then it will allow the access to international calls. Phone ID options offer also a rigorous control, at personal level for the costs with international calls. Related to billing, users have real time access to their credit over the phone, service invoicing being done at the beginning of each month for the calls in the previous month.
